Collection scam

Guy named John called and said he was a mediation firm hired to collect a debt from Ace Cash that was more than 8 years old. I requested debt validation and was finally sent a fake letter stating that I owed the debt. Threatened in my voicemail that I would be served papers at my home and at my work. Went to the website in the letter and it was a fake website. Called me from different spam phone numbers. Also told me that if anyone else contacted me about this debt to have them call him or that I should call him. I gave him my debit card number and then immediately cancelled the card after the phone call.

Person called claiming they were first express delivery service. Called the number again from a different phone number and then was told when I asked that they were a law office for Abrams and Hoffman and they were calling about a letter or package that needed to delivered. I hung up and blocked number. The number when searching did not come up with any Law office by that name. I even called law offices with the same area code and similar name to find out if they called or if someone was spoofing their names. This was verified that the two places I called were not partners and was informed that if someone was going to be served any form of papers etc, they would not be notified first. Also contacted ScamPulse.com and asked about the name and phone number and they could not find any information for this number and/or name.
