I signed up for a marketing fundamentals event through eventbrite with this company. The event was stated to be on May 13th, 2022 at 801 E. Douglas in Wichita Kansas. The time listed is from 9am to 5pm. I reserved my ticket online a month prior, and chose to have them invoice me (there was an option to pay early). When I showed up this morning for the event, the receptionist at the address listed above informed me that there was no conference room reserved by Academy For Pro's for this time or any other time.

I then attempted to contact them through the phone numbers listed on their website, one of which was a private individuals voicemail. The number claiming to be Australian was also not a functioning number. At this time I have not received an invoice, however my company owner has now paid me for the time it took me to get to the event, attempt to contact Academy For Pro's, and commute back to my place of work.
