This is a business owner that i contacted directly on Instagram, replying to one of his instagram stories about some hats he was showcasing for sale. I contacted him in direct messages regarding interest in buying two hats. He had me move our conversation from instagram direct messages to text messaging. (I felt comfortable to share my personal number with this owner because we had met a couple times through mutual friends about 10 years ago). I told me the price for two hats which was $65 per hat. I sent him the $130 total through Zelle, and he said he received the money and that we are in business. He never provided me with any receipt or tracking number in the following days. After a couple weeks he does follow up with me saying he forgot about my order because he got "commissioned" to produce other clothing for another project. I was understanding and said no problem. I still never received any updates on shipping or tracking numbers. I had to reach out a few weeks later and he said basically the same excuse. I have left this alone for a couple months while in the meantime the business owner still posts on his Instagram stories about selling clothes and hats, the same hats i sent him money for but never received. I contacted him a week ago through instagram and through text messages and i have gotten no response. The business owner still continues to promote his clothing for sale through his Instagram stories even after i have made these attempts to contact him about my unfulfilled order.
