I received a phone call from this company claiming to be a public state service. They knew I had been in an auto accident and had my name and a few details about the accident. They started asking personal questions about the accident, and tried to sidestep questions I asked about who they were and where they received my information. I told them I did not want their service and not to call me. They kept going back to questions about my insurance and injuries regardless, and when I repeated I didn't need their service, they immediately hung up in the same way a scammer does. 5 days later I received another call from them from a different number (also listed on their website but from a different county than my own), after normal business hours. Their website does not list an address, and I could not find any information about the company online other than on their own website, as if it has been professionally scrubbed. Their website is full of grammatical errors and does not provide any other public service entity contact information or affiliations, only their own phone number. I'm concerned they are using public police accident records in a predatory manner to sell victims' information to third parties or receive victims' insurance payouts.
