I received an alert that a package was going to be delivered to my home address, by Fed Ex, for an order from Walmart.com. I had not ordered anything from Walmart so I went online to my Walmart.com account and saw that a, $800 laptop had been purchased with my bank card that was saved to my Walmart.com account. I checked my bank account and sure enough $800 had been charged to my checking account by Walmart.com. I cancelled my card and called Walmart.com and told them about it. They contacted FedEx and told them not to deliver the package and to send it back to them. They will credit my account when they receive the laptop. I searched the internet to see about this and found some similar stories. One, in particular was about a man that received a package from Best Buy with a laptop in it and, when he checked his bank account, he had been charged for it. Upon contacting Best Buy and UPS, he found that the scammer was counting on him not knowing about the charge and the day after the laptop was delivered, a FedEx truck would be sent back to pick up the package. The scammer contacts either the business or the delivery company and says the package went to the wrong address. So the scammer was probably using my money and Walmart.com account to buy a laptop, have it delivered to my house, & was going to have it picked up the next day and sent to their own address.

I will no longer save my payment information to any online account.
