Cold call from a man who said we had an unpaid medical bill of over $500 from a ‘medical diagnostic laboratory’ dated 6/24/23. He could not tell us the name of the doctor but gave us a license number, 31649958, which does not register as a provider in Oregon where we receive medical care. We have not checked with our doctor but there is no indication on our calendars that there was a medical appointment of any kind that day. He was trying to set up a payment plan or he threatened he would have to turn it over to escalate the process. We commented about hearing a dog in the background, he said it was a ‘service dog we have in the office named Yuki.’ We called him on the BS and disconnected.
