On Facebook (Arlington living page Amie spraggins posted about work from home opportunity through FB messenger told me to download Microsoft teams so I did then I get message from someone claiming to be from ACD Direct legit company however after a lengthy back and forth and of course I was hired sent them a photo of my driver's license front and back then the scam..they wanted me to download PDF check deposit it in my account using bank app and don't forget to endorse on the back... totaling 1200.00 keep $100.00 for myself then when check clears to go ahead and purchase computer however they never asked if I had my own equipment only a printer of course anyway heads up

Employment Scam

On 12/8/2022 I was sent a text with just my name. I responded "who is this?". I received a quick response saying "Greetings... I am David Mark from ACD, Direct Inc. and I am here in regards to your resume reviewed by the company head of the dept the job title: Data Entry Clerk/Admin Assist/Management/Customer services/Dispatcher and IT jobs. The pay scale is $30 an hour, kindly reply back with your EMAIL ADDRESS and YES I AM INTERESTED. Thank you...

I replied back, Hi David, I am willing to learn more. But if you have my resume then you have my email address.

He replied: The dept head has your resume, not me. Since I am the one coordinating the interview I will need it as well.
Then he asked if I have skype or telegram on my phone or computer.

I replied, NO, I do not have those apps and I will not download them. If you want to schedule an interview then use Zoom.
He did not reply to that text other than sending me one that stated I am scheduled with John Bell and 2 links I could use to connect. Needless to say I did not click on them.

Again I asked him how he got my info.. He didnt respond.
Then I sent a final text telling him I know you are trying to scam me but I am smarter than your average American...LMAO... He never responded!

I was texted 3852818274 by David Mark about a job interview with John Bell with a code RX-350. Will ask you to download Skype or telegram.Will do an interview and rate you. Say you're hired, will send you free equipment and money to get you started. Offer you a job that is too good to be true but will ask for your bank details. He didn't reply after refusing to give the details and confronting the scam.

I received the same texts yesterday.. But I am very cautious.. The first question I asked is "How did you get my info?", He said on a job site, I asked which one and he couldn't tell me.. I texted him back and told him he's trying to scam me and I am too smart for him..LOL.. The texts stopped..LOL

Was texted by 731-451-4500 about a job opportunity was advised to download telegram or Skype app to connect for interview with John Bell was given a code to use and asked many questions related to employment but also about bank info who do I bank with how long has it been etc. was offered a job and was told I would get a check in the mail for office supplies and a free apple computer. Once confronted about the scam the messages deleted but I had already took some screenshots
