I received a number of threatening emails from someone identifying themselves as the department of law and enforcement stating that if I do not settle an unpaid loan they will take action against me including contacting my employer, confiscating my wages, having my belongings and any belongings obtained in the next ten years seized until loan is paid. The emails were not grammatically correct which is always a red flag and I have never taken a loan out with anyone. They used Ace Cash Express company logo in their email along with the company address. I responded requesting information on the loan they was seeking payment on several times however they simply continued emailing threatening emails. I contacted Ace Cash Express directly and by providing by social security number was able to confirm there is no existing account in my name, in the event someone used my identity without my knowledge.
