Alex texted and called me religiously, saying I qualified for a $14,000 loan for 5% interest over 72 months. This sounded great. He said in order to get moving, I needed to buy an ebay or google play card with $210.00 on it for processing fees. Since I didn't have that much, he said he could waive $60.00 so I only had to pay $210 for a certain amount of time. Like a dummy, I fell for this. Scratched off the back and sent a picture with the card and receipt picture.  He said once I did this I would be approved in the system within 3 hours with the $14,000 in my account. I submitted in time and he said he just missed the deadline and I would have to send $60.00 more to make up the full $210. So I did that. But...Then he said in 2 hours it would be in my account and that it LEFT their account and was caught by the government....Due to my bank account that is new (which it is) and my credit score, they wanted me to pay pre-tax on the $14,000 and would hold it until I either paid pre-tax by 12/13 through Ace Cash Express, or wait 7 days for the IRS to call and get a copy of my taxes to release the funds. I started feeling sketchy and was getting slower to respond but so stressed because he was pressuring me to get this done as it was 12/12 by this time. Since the IRS had it on hold, he said I owe pre tax of $390 on this 14,000 because the govt charges $130.00 for every $5000 borrowed. I confirmed that when my check went in on Thursday that I could pay that. And directly from my account. Then Thursday morning early, he said I needed to get an ebay card and he was sorry about that. So I couldn’t get that cause I only had $195. I said I couldn’t do the 390… he said his company could do 180 if I could come up with 210 for an ebay card. Only got $200 because there was only up to 200 available. So I paid that 200 and sent pics of that. They then said they were going to do two separate deposits to my account and that I should return them with ebay cards once I get them. $120 was sent 12/13/19. Bank took 15.00 off due to wire transfer fee.. but I don’t have chase bank in Manitowoc and no debit card yet so I couldn’t get the money out. He started harassing me really bad, threatening his legal team on me for the $14000 that they “paid out to me” and also the 120 they sent to my acct. Once I send ebay card of 120 to them, they would then send the remaining 80 needed to cover the 390 taxes on the loan and I would submit that via ebay card also asap. I decided this was a scam and am keeping the 120 that was deposited. Total I paid was $290 to them.
