Offered a free Stanley 170-piece Tool Kit if completed survey, regularly $500, an absurd price, even for Snap-on tools (expensive pro-quality). So searched online and found this page about the scam, amanig many others.

On 5/8/2023, I was contacted via email saying it was a survey for ACE Hardware-You've been chosen, a prize awaits. I take the survey, and for $5.99 (shipping costs) I was told I would receive a Stanley Tool kit. Then on 5/12/2023 my credit card is charged $71.97. On 5/23 my credit card is charged $49.99. A total of $127.95. I never received the tool kit. I called the tel#877-721-4699 that was on the charge card and the customer service tells me that those are ligit charges. I told her they were not! She said she could only refund me $50.00. I told her I wanted a full refund I never received a tool kit and never agreed to monthly charges of $71.97 and $49.99 for online store!!
