Supposed contractor working at my house that is becoming a con artist by not showing up. Was supposed to be putting the roof on my house, which he has not. He has been demanding money being paid, but the roof isn't finished. My house flooded inside after a rain storm. I had to call my insurance to submit a claim but when asking for his insurance he would not provide it. Because of the roof not being finished, it caused a massive amount of damage. He has not shown up in the last few days, and now threatens that if I do not pay him, he would put on lien on the house. I supposedly have a contract but I only recall signing a handwritten paper that says proposal.
