SCAM ALERT! I was scammed by a person calling himself Bill Brown (he has a Norwegian accent). I now have approximately $26.000 in credit card debt being investigated by my banks because of this scam. This came about from the scam I found myself involved in which I thought was a Supply Chain Manager position I had accepted (a work from home position). I was not reimbursed as promised due to payments made from their banks to my credit cards charges which were reversed after payments by the scammers bank were reversed. I was contacted initially by a Melissa Bailey HR Dep - Associated Creative Holding through email as well as text from phone number 561-536-7008. Bill Brown then became my main contact after I received documents via email outlining the postion which obviously now I know was a very well thought out and executed scam company overview. I was instructed to make purchases of computer items, and accessories, tea, and medical supplies. Per a 12 page Supply Chain Manager job description. (Company address and contact info: 532 Madison Avenue New York, NY 10022 (at 54th Street and Madison avenue) which was more than likely a sham office; I went by one day and the building's directory listed a hair salon for their specific floor. Website: www.acholdingcoinc.com. I was emailed an extensive document regarding details of the position, the pay structure, benefits package, and company history. The position was to begin with a 2 week "trial period", after which there would be a decision made from both parties on whether to continue with employment on a full or part time basis. My official start date was February 13, 2024 and the job required me to buy computer products from local stores/vendors (MicroCenter,Costco, Best Buy, Apple store, Amazon etc), and then purchase packing materials, package the items and ship out per Bill Brown's instruction via FedEx or the USPS to receipents in Hong Kong, California and Kyrgyzstan. I was provided the shipping label(s) and or address to ship to. I recalled the first shipping label was generated with the address of QuickNHand LLC, 1379 E Colorado St, Glendale, CA 91205. and since I had asked Bill Brown about the company history, I decided to google that address information and what came up in the search was the written outlined of the exact same scam I had been drawn into. Unfortunately this was once I had made several puchases totaling thousands of dollars and had already shipped them out. I had processed a total of 5 bulk purchase orders totaling approximately $26,000. Each time a purchase was completed and posted to my credit card I was given either a Bank of America, or Discover bank account routing and account number to then pay off the balance incurred. The balance payments were shown as "posted", initially but days later show as reversed. I mentioned this occurrance to Bill Brown, and it was played off by either "it's a banking glitch" or "let me contact our accounting department and get another account for you to process payments from". His instructions to make payments were very precise ONLY to use the automated payment methold, and not to speak to customer service. I write about this experience to confirm this scam exsist and to let others know if you receive a job offer from this company it is not legitimate. I never even received pay for my two-week trail period I worked.
