Recieved and email [email protected] about my resume from linkedin having been reviewed for a Data Entry role with Acrux. i didn't remeber applying, so i looked in my previous applications on linkedin. Surprise! No acrux application. i was told to set up for an "interview" with the hiring manager Summer wray, no to be confused with the singer. The interview was not a zoom call but back and forth messages. In one message asking who I bank with, I lied. then being told to stay online for 5-7 minutes while they reviewed my answers with the heads of the department.

They instantly hired me without so much as a phone call or Zoom video conference. They asked for my bank info (I declined.) One block of text via Zoom indicated $22/hr and then the next block of text indicated $28/hr.

I applied for a job as a payroll clerk. It was posted on LinkedIn. One day later, I was contacted and told to reach out to Summer Wray on zoom for an interview. We connected and she immediately started interviewing me through the chat. Did not schedule a video meeting, just went right into it. First red flag. Everything seemed normal and real, but then I was asked to buy a check refill pack, and office supplies. Second red flag. Also, when I typed in chat, the replies were instant and seemed scripted. Third red flag. The website seemed real, but upon further research, was only created two weeks ago, and has a 4/100 TrustPilot score. It also did not have the Job posting I was offered on the site.
