Type of a scam Counterfeit Product
When I went to track my package, the next website said it could not find the tracking number. That website sent me to Flexport and wanted me to set up an account. Flexport is a freight forwarding and customs brokerage company based in San Francisco, California. I think this is another part of the scam. If the product was made in the USA why do I need to work with a customs brokerage company???
I sent an e-mail to [email protected] to find out why the tracking number they gave me could not pull up any information on my product. I received a return e-mail that evening (7 hrs later) from [email protected]. Text of e-mail is embedded below.
"Dear customer,
Thanks for your support and concern on our store.
The package has been shipped out. The tracking number ************** is correct. Please track the shipping information through the following link:
************************** Please kindly wait 3-5 days for the shipping information updated on the logistic website. It always takes 15-20 working days to arrive after shipping. Please keep in touch with your phone so that you could receive the package on time. If any inconvenience caused to you, please understand.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

Even with COVID-related delayed shipping issues, I have not had to wait 3 weeks for a product within the United States to arrive that is in stock. Also, the grammar in the text message made me suspicious. "Thanks for your support and concern on our store."
I looked on the internet for any reviews about the Acsthper website. My suspicions were confirmed. I called my credit card company to dispute the charge due to the fraudulent claims made on the website that the product was made in the USA. Per testimonials from other people who purchased the same product, this is a scam. Once received, the product looks nothing like it is described on the website. Returns are cumbersome since you have to go through customs. There is no phone number to contact a customer service person directly. The website claim was too good to be true. Buyer beware.

It looked exactly like one by an American artist, Anthony Howe, who made the cauldron for the Rio Olympic games. However, this version was offered for $60 which is a ridiculously low price.

I did not order since this looked like a scam, and searched to check. In comments, people have ordered and received product but it is defective and a cheap copy.

This group is defrauding customers, misrepresenting and violating design and copyright of the artist.
