I received a voicemail while at a meeting this morning. After my meeting I listened to the voicemail. The voice mail game me a number to call or they are going to legal proceedings. I called the number back, a man answered and stated he was from the Department of Social Security and gave me his badge number-981216. The man that answered was clearly from the middle east. I asked who is this and why are you calling. The man asked me to verify my first and last name. I said no and asked again, who it was. He knew my last name, and he then hung up. My last name IS *** though. I called back and asked who I was speaking with and asked what he was calling me for and he hung up. The number that called me is 1-916-409-7814. The voice was of middle eastern descent.
