I called for my electricity to be connected on my apartment and the lady by the name of Norma Idalia Suarez Castillo only asked for my name, phone number, email, date of birth and a picture of my I.D. Also a $40 dollar deposit was sent through zelle and it could also be done through cash app. I realized it was suspicious when she didn’t ask for my social security number and also when she told me the bill wouldn’t have my name. I called her back to cancel the service and I asked her if it was a scam and she confessed to me that they are involved in unethical and fraudulent business practices. I requested my $40 deposit back and she said she wasn’t returning back.
