I did not feel safe that I have to use my CC for that and asked for guarantee letter from HR that I will be reimbursed for all the spending. I received the letter of guarantee signed from HR that I will be reimbursed.
After purchasing the equipment, I was hopping that I can talk to the HR person on more details for business and asked to call me or if there is possibility to call to HR myself. I've been asking for it for a long time and finally, got suspicious about the whole thing because after receiving the phone call from HR, I realized it is not a legitimate business because the photo of person's on the Hangout software through which whole communication was not comparable with personality on the phone. I received phone call from person from Houston state and it was not suitable to a blond lady on the picture on Hangout and the behavior of the person on the phone was not professional as it is appropriate to HR person.
HR person was requesting that I will ship the equipment to the address provided but I refused and return the whole thing to Best Buy where equipment I bought from originally.
I requested that Essentia Health will reimburse me for Gift Cards that was part of the purchase as they promised and even gave me the signing letter on it. Unfortunately, Best Buy did not reimburse me for the Gift cards due to Gift cards already were activated by Best Buy. The whole amount was $300.
HR refused to reimburse me for it and asked again to send them the equipment and than they will reimburse me for the whole thing. It was pretty much clear who they are..
The whole experience is so disappointing. Scammers become more creative...
