Through a website UpWork for Freelance writing, Healthpointe Solutions offered me a job after I emailed my CV to a person named Grace Vanessa with the email address [email protected]. She sent me an offer letter within minutes of my application. I was then given a Skype address: https://join.skype.com/invite/GOrKdEKuvqxr to contact David Mauzey, supposedly the General Manager. I search the internet for this company, and the website looks legitimate. After only texting with him, he had me provide much of my information including my DL and SSN on a secondary website that appeared legitimate. The red flag happened when he wanted my password for ID.ME. I researched the company and scams and found a website on reddit and multiple other people had the same thing happened.

In the text he wrote: According to the data, you have an existing account with ID.ME; please provide me with the username and password to access it.

I wrote back: You cannot do that as it is my account. You would need my cell phone for the security code. Looking into this more, it appears that this offer is a fraud. I have read about others experiencing the same thing. I am requesting that you delete all of my information. I will be contacting the Texas Better Business Bureau and the FBI to report you.

He wrote back: We are the FBI.

After looking at the email addresses for contact on the website, they end with @healthpointe.solutions

As multiple people have had this happen, this needs to be addressed and stopped.
