I received two phone calls from my insurance company about my medicare insurance - they are in fact my healthcare provider. When I called back, they repeated my phone number and asked if that was correct, and I said "yes" - then they asked what my birth date was...unfortunately, I told them. That's when the alarm bells started going off. I hung up and called my insurance company with the phone number that is on my insurance card. They confirmed that they had NOT called me requesting a call back. I'm hoping nothing comes of it, but just in case, I wanted to share this experience.
