Type of a scam Identity Theft
I received an IRS Letter number 5071C stating that I filed an income tax return that was missing the taxpayer ID number. They wanted me to visit their website to verify my identity. www.idverify.irs.gov. It says that the website has the most up to date information. I have not filed an income tax in years. or call 1-800-830-5084
