I booked "Longhorn weddings" on June 3rd, paid in full to get a discount and additional hours. I went back and forth with "Olivia Colbert" with questions, etc and they replied promptly so I felt comfort to book them. Fast forward to today, Oct 1st, I'm getting the info of my vendors to my event coordinator for my Nov 11 wedding. As I get to the videograoher part, I go to the email to get the contact info and click on the contract... and I get the message "the information you're looking for is no longer available"... I PANIC! I get on facebook (which is where I found them), their page doesn't come up. I get on instagram (after booking them, I followed them there too) and the profile is GONE. I go to their webpage https://www.longhornweddings.com/ and it says they're fully book for 2023 but no way to get a hold of someone... I click the zola logo on their webpage and it takes me to the page in the screenshot I added that reads the message "Bummer, this vendor is no longer active on Zola". I click the theknot logo on their wepages and it takes me to a page of several other videographers. THEY HAVE DISAPPEARED! I call the number on the email from Olivia (866)918-3927 and it takes me to a menu... I listen and they want me to take a survey... no mention of Longhorn Weddings. I hang up and google "Longhorn wedding scam" and found this page... I'll cried... I'll be calling my bank and I hope I can find a videographer in time for our wedding...

It is now two weeks before my wedding and I am left without a videographer. I have reached out via phone and email multiple times with. I response. When I booked them 8 months ago, they had a fully operational website with pricing, reviews, sample videos, etc., a fully page on the knot with the same, Facebook and Instagram pages and we’re very responsive. When I decided to book with them, they offered me two free hours and a $400 discount to fully pay up front, which I did. Looking back maybe that should have triggered me, but I was happy to find a way to save a few dollars on an expensive service. A couple of months before my wedding I started trying to reach out to nail down the details and found they have been non-responsive. During this time period their website has changed to just a landing page saying they are fully booked, their pages on the knot and Zola have disappeared and so have their Facebook and Instagram pages. I have found several bride forums with others who have had the same experience. I also read that they have done this before under another name, and they have probably now moved onto a new name. Brides beware! Do lots of research and speak o vendors on the phone and do NOT pay upfront.

They are very unprofessional at best, but likely they are scamming people. Don't pay employees for their work, may or may not actually show up to the wedding and if they don't they will say they refunded you but never actually do it. They scam workers for free labor and scam customers by not delivering the service they promised and taking the money anyways.

They have a position for a Photo Editor posted on linked in. Once you go through the interview process, which is entirely digital. You'll get a call from a google number to confirm the job offer, which is a great offer. They will then ask you to Zelle them $750 to purchase you a phone as a condition of your employment. It's a scam. Beware.
