They called me the first time last night while I was getting ready for a meeting. I did not get to the phone fast enough and they left a voicemail. Claimed it was not the first time they'd attempted to reach me despite having never seen that number before or having left any previous messages. Later that night they called my brother looking for me. Told him they got his number as a previously listed contact number for me. My brother has had that number since high school. It has NEVER been listed as contact info for me. So now they've lied to us both and contacted my brother illegally. Lord only knows how they actually got his number. Likely not legally either. They called me again this morning on the number listed above. The number this morning is not the same as the one used last night. Which means they are also spoofing numbers. Which is also illegal. I do not have a student loan debt either. They are scamming and harassing me and my family.
