This was a HIGH pressure sales event. They were selling discounted travel. It was much like a time share presentation. When you say ‘no’ they bring in another person to turn the screws.
At the conclusion of their ‘presentation’ we were dismissed without a remuneration (as advertised). We asked if we could keep the printed information they had passed out and were told we could not do so. Once we indicated that we were not moving forward we were dismissed without any of the advertised remuneration. We questioned that and were handed a flyer with instructions on how to claim your ‘free’ trip.
When we went to the website, we found that the trip is not free. It gave us an amount of $900 to activate this ‘free’ trip
I can upload copies of both the invite and the free trip flyer if requested.
This was NOT a focus group (as advertised.). We mentioned this to the person trying desperately to get us to BUY something. he said Really??? It’s advertised as a focus group? We’ll have to get those flyers updated.
This is must another example of bait and switch. I don’t want anyone else to be subject to this unscrupulous company.
