Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill
A week ago another person supposedly from the same collection agency again made the same demands as the first agent. However, even though she said "she was not authorized to do it", she cut the original amount in half to $600 and finally to $500 if I would give her my credit card immediately.
I could not understand exactly what service they said I had ordered.
I do not have any record of any prior contact with Advanced Media Group
I did not request any service from them.
They could not show me the service they were providing.
They could not show any documentation of my supposed service request.
They used scare tactics...pay now or we will take you to court!
The web site for the company references VOIP services which were never mentioned in any of their calls and which I do not use.
Due to their high pressure techniques, I gave them my credit card number and they charged my account $500.
Shortly after the call and discussion with my associates, I called my CC company and disputed the charge.
