Was told I was going to be arrested and sent to court for non payment

I was told I had a debt from a old load 12 years ago and that I needed to resolve it today Dec 16th or id be served with papers and go to court . I paid 1293.00 that day and its in my bank records. I have been waiting on a settlement letter Ive tried calling and the # says not available

Called me saying i owe debt.

A lady called with my info saying i owed debt. She claimed they had contected me by mail and email. A lie. She also said that they would take me to court and sue (for more) unless i settled and offered $168 to settle and asked when i could pay. When i asked her to send me something in the mail she sent the email again. It has a link but the email looks weird and im not clicking a random link from a company that when searching online doesn't come up and when it does its under scam beware sites. Will update if they call again.

He is offensive and does not give his company information or letter of proof of debt.

He does not have email or website.

Name: Fred Sams/Sands

He immediately threatens to take you to court and sue for more if you do not settle today.

He uses DocuSign and sends a letter through to make it look real.
