They offered me $50 an hour for a remote transcriptionist job. They sent me a $3500 check by email to be deposited into my bank account and wanted me to purchase a computer and various software tools for the job. I found this to be a little sketchy so I decided to have my bank put an administrative hold on the $3500 check. The company is hounding me about if the check has cleared and the funds are available yet. It's obviously a scam. I think this is sad that people can prey on individuals who are trying to make a better like for themselves by finding work and the government (you guys) aren't doing anything about it.
