Claimed to be Ada County Sheriff calling for our daughter who has not lived with us for 9 years. When I asked why he was calling from a Lewiston land line, he said "have a nice day" then hung up.

I keep receiving phone calls from phone number 208-999-2512 which I don't recognize and never answer. They finally left a message the other day identifying themselves as the Ada County Sheriff's Dept. I did some research on the number online and it doesn't belong to the Sheriff's Dept. When I call the number back I only get an answering machine that sounds very official (except for the southern accent) asking me to leave my name and phone number.
