I was looking for a job because I had just been fired and had been in the hospital. A guy said he would pay me tobdrive around with a company ad on my car and he would pay me 400 every week for three months. I figured it was legit because I had heard of people doing that to make a side source of cash. I was desperate for the money. He mailed me a check and told me to take money out of it to pay the detailed. At first I thought nothing of it but then the guy told me to take more money out of the check. So I decided to go and try to make a bank account with it. Upon further discussion with the bank teller he said that the check was counterfeit. The guy who sent me the check has not contacted me again
