I contacted Adams Parrot Farms via website which led to contact by text message. We discussed products available and agreed to purchase 10 parrot eggs and a rCom incubator. The agreed upon price was $500 plus 85 for shipping for total of $585. I was sent a payment request by the individual in PayPal for 470 and then an additional request for 115 to complete the order. This was sent via paypal as friends and family purportedly so I would pay the CC fees (yes looking back that was a foolish mistake) I received a confirmation number via text message on 6/12 stating the package had been shipped and showing a invoice. I checked the provided website and tracking number and it appeared to be legit. On 6/13 at about 3:03 MDT I received a email purportedly from the shipping company TransAmericanShipping stating the they had my shipment in Cleveland and that "Vet" stickers were not attached to the eggs and that they would get the stickers and attached them for $10 per egg for total of $379 and that paypal request was coming. I felt this was improper and contacted the seller and told them of the problem and told them they were the shipper and they should have provided all documents prior to shipping. There was some back and forth via text message where he demanded $300 for the stickers, I refused. I told them IF the eggs and items were received in good order I would place a new order for additional eggs and they could charge me for the stickers on that order but I would not send additional money. They refused this offer and then lowered the demand to $150. Which I also refused. I have contacted PayPal and submitted a fraudulent active report but since I sent funds and friends and family I am not covered by buyers protection. Never the less I filed the report and am hopeful they will intervene. I ask for the seller to refund/return my funds both via text message and attempted to send via paypal although now I can not find him in Paypal. I have screen shots of text messages if needed and I will include below the text of the email demanding additional funds.

Your seller can help handle the issue if you send the payment to them

and they will immediately settle the insurance and arrange refund when

egg arrives.

Please accept the PayPal request they send so this can be solved
