I was sent Priority Flat Rate envelope through USPS. It contained a cashiers check for $1,795. from Academy Bank. Legit looking. A letter was also included with very specific instructions. To make a long scammer story short, I am supposed to deposit this check into my bank account, go buy $1300. worth of gift cards to Footlocker, take pics and send the pics to a given text # 828- 316-1633 (Adam Brentwood), then await my next mission. At no time did I follow any instruction. My son was a victim of a scammer and it cost him $2500. Be careful and smart out there!!
