I picked up the phone, expecting a call from a company who had just installed a Garbage Disposal. I had complained to the installer that I had a difficult time understanding the phone number given by the employee who was calling to set up an appointment. The installer advised that he would report the problem to "headquarters." When I got the scam call a few days after installation, I thought it was from the installer's company and she asked me if I could hear her. I said yes and was connected to some woman selling car insurance. I hung up.
