Total money lost $180
Type of a scam Counterfeit Product
On Saturday 23rd December 2017, I was on google shopping looking for some high top Adidas shoes for my husband and clicked through to the site: www.visitthebarkpark.com
This site is posing as Adidas.
The site looked exactly like it was Adidas (branding and shoes etc), however there were some strange things about the site (like the url), but I naively thought this must've been a warehouse, or factory site.
I purchased 2 pairs of shoes and noticed things were a little off when I went through the order process. The payment went through my bank account at a more expensive amount then was quoted and went through my bank account as "FHT*AHOJIAN SHENZHENSH CHN" from the People Republic of China and was charged in Yuan.
I was quoted $171.70 USD and I was charged $180.38. (I assume because it went through as a foreign currency even though I had no knowledge of this.)
Anyway, fast forward to the 12th January and my shoes are delivered. I was away so didn't physically receive them until the 15th January. I open the package and the shoes I received are firstly NOT the shoes I ordered and I recognise the shoes as the expensive Kanye West "Yeezy Boost 350" shoes that retail for $1500USD. These shoes are obviously fake.
I had no idea I was ordering from a place in China that would send me fake shoes?!
I have contacted the company 12 times via email. I have got some responses from the company:
"sorry to hear about that, we will checking to shipping company , if they are made an mistake we will resend. pls be patience waiting some days"
"the shipping company checking now, we will give you an good answer, pls trust me"
"We urge the courier company to solve as soon as possible "

I have contacted my bank to try and claim a refund, but I want to make you aware of this scam site so other people don't fall victim to these fake Adidas shoes.
