“HR assistant” Megan Bruce reached out regarding my application (I’ve been applying a lot so I didn’t think anything of it). I did an assessment and early the next morning I was offered the job via email and text which I thought was odd. No video or phone interview? The offer letter then instructed that I’d need to use a personal bitcoin wallet to purchase software then be refunded via expense check. It all seemed off. Went to Reddit to find that several other people had the same experience
