We contacted the cat breeder/cattery online and inquired about purchasing a pure bred Maine [censored] cat. They texted us only, never phone calls, information about the how they do business and sent us their Zelle information for payment for the cat. They emailed us a contract to sign which we did and sent back. We asked for a real time picture of the cat the next day and they said that they already dropped the cat off to the shipping company. Which is www.ushipcounty.com. The cat supposedly began airshipment at 11:16AM to arrive at 6PM in New York. Mid day the shipper sends an email requesting that we pay an additonal $2000.00 for an upgraded crate because the current crate the breeder used would be of health detriment to the cat moving forward in the shipping process. The shipper then send an email with their zelle information asking us to send the money and telling us they will not ship our cat until we pay the $2000.00. I tried to send the money but **** ** ******* flagged the shipper zelle information as a known scammer so luckily we did not lose all that money. Today they have sent us an email threatening us with animal abandonment if we don't send them the money. I have since asked them for a real picture of our cat at their shipping facility and to speak with their supervisor and they refuse to give me this information. Also, there have been no names used in their email with valid email signatures and they do not answer their phone when we call. Also, adoph cattery claims to be a TICA (The International Cat Association) breeder and 11 generation winner which when I looked them up they are NOT on the TICA website listed anywhere under any state as a real breeder. I would hate to see this happen to someone else that it trying to adopt a pet it is a ruthless and multi-layered scam with multiple fake websites and zelle users requesting money. I called the FBI and submitted to their ICS division and they are currently researching these companies, I spoke with them today. Please ban www.adolphcattery.com from the web so no one else falls victim to this scam as well at www.ushipcounty.com as they provided false shipping information and threated us with some ridiculous crate fee of $2000.00 and animal abandonment. We know now that there is no kitten and there never was, it was all a scam. We have yet to receive a real picture from the breeder or the shipping company. Also, we have called the breeder and he was not responsive at all and even offered to pay half the additional fee of $2000.00, that was the best solution he gave. They are just trying to get as much money out of the person they are scamming as possible.
