Type of a scam Online Purchase
When I told them I didn't have pay pal they insisted I set it up or use Zelle, or google pay. So, I set up pay pal, sent them the $300.00 the way pay pal shows to send. Immediately they told me I did it wrong; that I am supposed to send it to friends that you know and trust on the pay pal app. They did issue a credit and told me to do it over right away. I began to be suspicious as they were so adamant that I get that $300.00 to them immediately. They also said if pay pal isn't working right for me to set up google pay or zelle. They gave me 3 different emails to send the money too. That raised a big red flag for me once they were so adamant so I just explained to them I was tired and would do it the following day; so that I could do some research to find out if they were in fact legit. They kept insisting they were 100% legit. So the next day, they were contacting me through Instagram asking if I had sent the money yet. I said no, I sure have not and this is the reason why. I told them that I didn't believe they were legit and asked them to call me and talk with me. I did get a phone call from this number 930-208-4218 stating his name as Kelly Scott and their process and that they were legit. I began to ask numerous questions like,
why can't I just come to Phoenix and pick up the pup. His response was they didn't want anyone coming to their house because of Covid and I said I understand that, we can meet somewhere safe and I can give you the whole $800.00 and get the pup. The phone went dead.
I knew then that this wasn't legit. He continued to send me messages on Instagram as to that is their process and get the money sent right away and you will receive your puppy. I sent a message back stating that I was not gonna send him any money up front, if you can't meet me in a safe place in Phoenix to get the pup then I'm not buying from you. I stated that is not the legit way to sell puppies, your scamming me and many others. Well, to say the least, all messages stopped and he blocked me on his Instagram page.
I did contact my credit card company that I used to send the $300.00 on pay pal and explain the issue. They are aware and did refund me my money back, Thank goodness.
I just don't want these people to continue to scam others. They also had a guy on Facebook by the name of Kelvin C Jack posting that they are very reliable and highly recommended. Which I contacted him as well and he stated he purchased a pup and all was legit. Once I realized it was a scam I contacted him back and he blocked me also.
I have posted on the Bullhead City pet connection that these people are scammers and do not buy a pup from them.
They gave me 3 different emails to send the money to which are as follows; [email protected], [email protected] and [email protected]
