I went online to adopt a kitten. I reached out to adorablebirmans.com. I got an immediate response asking for details about my history with cats, what my home is like etc like they normally would. They asked for a Zelle payment. I sent it. Then I was contacted by the shipping agency who had the adoption papers and the vet. They said they couldn’t ship the kitten without $2k via Zelle for a special crate. It became clear I got scammed.
