Type of a scam Online Purchase
Once the Puppy was sold by only accepting Zelle, the puppy was supposedly sent to the 3rd. Party Logistics shipping company which claimed he puppy needed to be shipped in an electronic crate and not in the soft crate the seller brought the puppy in. The logistics company had some very professional looking pages informing the buyer that an additional $1,500 was necessary for the crate which was totally refundable. When the Puppy supposedly arrived at the DFW Dallas Airport to be transported on an American Airlines flight to Florida, the Logistics Company required an additional $950 for "Insurance" again these fund were 100% refundable and lastly when the Puppy was still in transit, they required an additional $1,500 for Vaccinations. First sign of the scam was in not accepting credit card payment, which was an immediate RED FLAG. Immediately after realizing that I have been scammed, i contacted my Bank, the local Police Department in Coeur D Alene, Idaho where the Puppy was shipped from, the State of Idaho FBI, and I filled scam reports with the Federal Trade Commission and the IC3.gov.
