I made a $500 deposit on a puppy and the final $600 was to be paid at pickup. I was going to pay cash but he asked me to get a visa gift card for the remaking balance. He said he needed one and this was easier. So I got 2 Visa gift cards. He wanted proof that I got them. So I took a quick picture showing I got them and was on my way. He stated wait and that he needed me to open it and take a picture of the front and back of the card to verify the correct numbers. I refused and said I would give him the cards or cash when I had puppy in hand. We messaged back and forth with me refusing to take pictures and offering to give him the cards or cash at pickup. He refused that and said if I can’t send him pictures than forget it and he will refund me the deposit. Well I highly doubt that will happen. He has already taken down the Facebook page where I found puppy. He still has the website up though. Here is a link to our messenger conversation
