Found the page on Facebook, inquired about a Morki puppy that was ready for adoption. I was contacted by Charles Atoh 10/27/2024 and spoke with him on the phone. We just lost our 3-year-old Morki to cancer. He seemed sincere and expressed his condolences. The price of the puppy including shipping was 750.00 dollars. He cut the price in half and requested payment through Zelle. I sent him 375.00 dollars. Monday morning 10/28/2024 he sent me a text with the tracking number through Prime Logistic Services. I checked the tracking the puppy was scheduled to depart 12:30 PM and be delivered to my home by 7:00 PM. Just before 1:00 PM I rechecked tracking her departure was put on hold. They sent me an email that I needed to rent an airconditioned crate. 2500.00 deposit 95% refund at time of delivery returning the crate. Being busy at work worried about the puppy's wellbeing, I sent 2500.00 as deposit so the puppy would ship. Then 30 minutes later I'm informed no crates were available and I needed to upgrade to a 3500.00 deposit. I called the number 915-205-4150 on the shipper's web site and spoke with Devon who informed me that crates were due back in, and I didn't have to send an additional 1000.00 dollars. It wasn't until Thursday 10/31/2024 late afternoon I was informed by Devon crates have been returned and I would have to pay another 500.00 dollars for feeding and accommodation of the puppy. At that point I knew I was Scammed. Mind you I had several conversations with the so-called breeder and Devon at the shipping company while awaiting the return of a crate. No money has been refunded and no longer will either party answer the phone. The breeder is a scam artist and I'm sure he also heads up the so-called shipping company. I have done research into the domain name for the breeder, and it appears to be registered in Iceland.
