Called from a phone number in the same area code, different city. Said my ADT panel needed to be upgraded from 3G to 5G. Seemed to have my address already and they informed me they'd be upgrading my panel so I agreed to an appointment. Before the appointment, realized the timeframe for the appointment wouldn't work so I called ADT to reschedule. They had no record of that service call or that an appointment was set. Said ADT did not make that call. I attempted to call the number back that had called me and it went to voicemail "Please leave a message at the tone". Seems obvious now that it's a scam, thankful I called before the appointment was scheduled.
