The autopay had a cryptic description that I associated with an order number and never caught. ADTRNQ.com
The company states that I purchased a scam protection app from them and the only info they have about me is my email address.
I asked them for proof of that purchase in form of an email confirmation. I also requested proof that they informed me at any time of upcoming autopayments. They said they don't have to inform me. When I asked them how they can proof I purchased this subscription they told me there is no such proof.
I did not nor would I ever knowingly buy scam protection for $14.99 per week. I am retired and on a fixed income.
I was unable to satisfactorily resolve this issue with AdTranquility.
I am concerned about how widespread their fraud may be.
In the end I cancelled my credit card and submitted a dispute with my credit card provider against AdTranquility.
I hope this may result in some sort of investigation into AdTranquility.
I lost my tranquility over this. I hope noone else will.
