The name this guy used was Elian Paul, i was applying for a loan and he called me saying he could approve me up to $3,000.00 I said okay, he then asked for me to take a photo of my license and SSC, as well as sent me in writing the loan in the amount of $600 because that was all i wanted to be loaned out. He then asked for my bank account info so that he could send me the money, once he sent me the money he said that he had sent the full $3000.00 by accident and to please just pull out the $600 i was borrowing and to put the rest on a walmart gift card. It was very weird but stupidly i complied, i sent him all my info. I then saw the deposit of a check from my current work for the amount of $3,120.10. i then knew it was wrong!!! for i know that my work would not send me a check for this amount and why would the loan company send me a electronic check with MY work's info on it? looked like a check from my work...... I then called the bank and we decided it was fraud, the controller at my job then called me in to his office because he was contacted by the bank showing that i was being sent $3,020.00. Good thing i had already caught it and have the claim number for it would of looked like i was the one forging the check. Which i was not!! i then shutdown the chase account and will not be doing that again! Please keep a look out when applying for a loan, if it sounds to good to be true it always is!!!!!
