I recently looked to obtain a line of credit for my business. In doing so, I put some general information into a website, where I had multiple brokers reach out to me for assistance. Unfortunately, I ended up speaking with Derick Hayes of Advanced Funding Capital. He indicated that he could assist me in getting the line of credit that I needed. In doing so he said in order for my business to qualify for a line of credit, I would have to raise my paydex score. To that he said I could do a short term loan. He actually suggested that I do a prepayment of a short term loan through Better Way. (another fraudulent company which I will report as well.) The company that I had talked with through the broker which would provide a line of credit, ABC Capital, indicated that once I prepaid this loan, that they would provide the line of credit. (I will be reporting this company as well.)

During this process, Derick was extremely responsive. That was until we did make the $8,996 prepayment. After that, no calls were returned. I reached out to ABC Capital and Better Way as well. They did not return my calls either. I have all documentation and messages on file for this entire process to prove what I am indicating.

After doing research on these companies, they all have fraudulent websites, indicating A+ ratings with the Better Business Bureau and Trust Pilot. They also list fake brokers on the Advanced Funding Capital website. I believe it is just a one person show, due to the lack of ability to get a hold of someone, once I was scammed. I plan on going to the CFPB to get my funds back if possible. Strong warning to anyone working with these businesses to stay away. They lie to get your money and they will not deliver. The other company's websites are as follows: abccapitalinc.com and betterwayfunding.com.
