I was looking for a $5000 for personal reasons. This company reached out to me and really made it so easy. Until this " manager" called me and asked me for my banking information which was encrypted. Then he told me because they were an independent financial lender they would deposit money into my account for taxes and other things to the tune of $500. He instructed me to go to Walmart and with my debit card to buy a $500 visa gift card and when he received that they would deposit the $5000 into my account. I, of course, refused. And my bank called me because of unusual activity in my checking account. They said nothing was taken but I had changed my password before leaving the house. But he told me my bank account was linked to theirs. This is a scam and please put out an alert. Thank you.
