I submitted a request for a loan via an online portal. I was approved for a $9000 loan. The person I was communicating with named Paul contacted me via phone and text for approval and had me completed an online application, sign and agreement and said a verification process would be needed in order to receive the funds. Verification was done and I was asked to send back via cash app. Little did I know or understand the scammers spoke with my bank on my behalf, accessed my account and reported fraudulant payments and had reversals of previous payments done. They kept reassuring me the loan amount was being processed, my credit score would improve. The funds were never received. I changed passwords, closed my account and now have to contact merchants to close all of the claims initiated. I cannot believe that I fell for this process.
