Total money lost $54
Type of a scam Healthcare/Medicaid/Medicare
I went and they did measurements on different areas of my body (9 in total, I believe). They did not show me the numbers. After completing the treatment, they remeasured. This time she pulled the measuring tape MUCH tighter in each spot. While I was on a vibrating machine, she came and told me that I had lost 5 inches. Again, I never saw any numbers and my clothes fit exactly the same as when I came in.
To top it off, the doctor gave me a sales pitch (which was hard to sit through because, unfortunately, his breath was so awful that I found myself trying to not breathe in) telling me I could lose 20 - 50 pounds in 14 weeks. What? That would put me VERY underweight?! Again, I love my body and I'm not there to lose weight. When I told him this, he shifted to how he could get me off all of my medication and my three autoimmune diseases are caused by yeast in my body and that autoimmune diseases are not real.
At that time, I told him I couldn't really afford the $1000 program (not that I was interested, anyway) because I'm on a fixed income and he almost tripped on himself getting out the door.
I called to get my money back for the session and they said since I lost more than 2 inches (completely fake and unverified inches) then I could not get my money back.
Then, when I wrote a post on FB about it to warn others, one of their Nurse Practitioners called me a liar and gave my personal information about my account on Facebook.
