I was inquiring about a potential online loan and was contacted by this individual and told that they received my information and I was approved for a loan. I have done business with this company in the past in person in the city that I reside so I assumed it was legit. I had also had previous experience with online loans before that were legit and successful. He didn't request any money but did ask for my banking information, date of birth and social security number. He also sent me a link to click on in order to complete my information for the loan. It wasn't until I got off the phone and tried to access the same url again in the original email he sent and on my computer that I discovered that the website could not be found. I also contacted the headquarters of the company and upon giving them my info I was informed that there was no application or approval for any loan in my name. Upon calling the number back several times although it's not disconnected no one is answering anymore.
