These people called me on Dec supposedly to set up a advance coverage for extra warranty on my 2018 Toyota...they made it seem like they were working with Toyota to get my vehicle extra warranted coverage. They MANAGE to convinced me to sigh up with a down payment of 175.00 one time down payment than 18 payments of 149.78...I had some apprehension and told them I was still under my current dealership warranty..every monthly started to draw money from my account and every time I tried to cancel they wouldn't meet you but rather push my start date further and issue a refund...last month they made several withdrawals from my account 4 to be exact...they ended up issuing refunds on three but have not issued my last refund even though I have since cancelled..now they are having me jump through hoops just to get the rest of my refund wanting to see notorized letter with my milage and name to get my money back asked if I could fax it they telling me they don't have a working fax machine...they are definitely a bunch of scammers from management all the way down.

The people called me on 12/05/2020 for extra warranty on my 2015 Nissan Altima they convinced me to sigh up with a down payment of 175.00 one time down payment than 18 payments of 149.78. One of my Sons brought it up on the internet and showed me it is a scam so the people called me after seeing I’d blocked payment and I told them they were scammers asked to be left alone and hung up. They call my phone up to 6 times per day but I don’t answer it. What can I do from here now ?

Just called them today thinking I needed to get my 2017 Ford Fusion an extended warranty . Come to find our it’s still under the original warranty . The people would not take no
For an answer and they would not let me get off the phone . They were very pushy and kept making my payments smaller . I then decided to ask what the name of their company was and pulled it up on google and immediately hung up because I realized I was about to verb myself into something that was going to be hard to get out of . They even made it seem like they over rode their system to open back up “special offers” please don’t fall for this scam like I almost did.

Advantage Pro is definitely a phishing scam. I got the same postcard as the people above so I called thinking there was some type of identity theft going on. As someone who does customer service myself, I could tell by the careful usage of words and inability to say where they got my name and address information that they were not reputable - oh and then they also said that I would have to call their marketing department to see how they got my information (but if this was truly a "Final Notice" to "update the factory warranty" or be "responsible for paying all repairs out of pocket" then this wouldn't be referred by marketing... definitely phishing for information. I wouldn't even verify my phone number so they took it from caller id. What they didn't know is that I have never had that make or model and haven't owned a car at all since I moved to the midcity. The phone number the rep gave me to the Main Office/Cust Service was 888-614-6098, but you can never get anyone to pick up to be removed from their list. I waited on hold for a LONG time and nothing happens. Shady business practices.

We purchased a used car from Carmax two years ago with an extended (100,000 miles) warranty.
We are now getting postcards from Advantage Pro stating that we need to call 877-353-0010 to guarantee our car’s safe operation, and that by neglecting to call now, we will be responsible for paying all repairs out of pocket.
The name Advantage Pro is listed on the back of the card, at the bottom - the last two words, in rather small type.
This is our final notice - we must call within 5 business days.
I find it hard to believe that any reputable business would not have their name printed on the front of their card, and certainly not wait until the last two words on that card to post it. And they state that “a licensed representative will qualify.us for the best protection based on our vehicle’s age and mileage”.
This is bogus - we picked out the plan to suit our needs when we purchased the car. This is just another disreputable company phishing for consumers who are unaware of what they have already purchased. Shame on them! The people who respond to these tactics are those who can least afford to be caught up in a scam like this.

In December 2019 we bought a new vehicle including a 7 yr extended warranty from **** *******, through Chevrolet. This scam is from a company named Advantage Pro, and somehow they got my wifes name and address, and know the vehicle make and model. They sent two notices, this is the second on a post card. Has a phone number 800-375-6182, says call in 5 days or you'll be paying out-of-pocket for repair charges. It's stupid because even without the extended warranty we bought, the basic coverage on our new vehicle is 3 yrs. We just don't know HOW they got my wifes name, address, and make & model of our new car.

My boyfriend and I are first-time buyers of a brand new vehicle. We have received this post card in the mail telling us we must call and pay to "activate" auto insurance and "update" our factory warranty.
