We’re 99% sure these two companies are related or are the same. Prime Technology and Advantee Expert Technology. We have seen the exact same behavior from both and they have both scammed money from a Senior citizen by first contacting him on the phone after the computer stated he needed to upgrade his Windows (After he clicked into the icon). That’s when the Nightmare started (in 2012). They called him to say they could install the upgrade but told him he probably had viruses and they need his permission to get into his computer to clean it up. Well one thing led to another and when they finished (What was suppose to be the upgrade) and cleaned up ( What was suppose to be the viruses) he paid them by sending in a couple of checks. After a month or two he started getting calls first by Prime Technology and then later from Advantee Expert Technology. They kept using language that sounded as if he didn’t keep the services his computer would go back to what it was. He has since sent in checks so many times I have lost count (but he hasn’t). He actually had a computer expert look at his computer and the Tech said nothing was added to his computer but 4 icons were on his desktop that allows these computer companies to continue controlling his computer and possibly corrupting many of his files and personal data. He requested the tech to remove these icons and make sure his computer was okay. This has been going on since 2012. When he told the family what was going on I wanted to warn others be very careful when speaking on the phone or thru the computer with people you don’t know. Check with the BBB, Google the Company, and call your Bank or credit card company if you’ve given your information to these computer scammers. If you’ve been scammed fill out a police report. He has lost thousands of dollars with Companies like these and they need to be stopped. We believe there are two more Tech companies involved with these. One is Genius Technology and the other one calls from Renton, wa.. He forgot the name but the address is *** *** *** *** *** ** ***
