The text message was an offer for a Zoom interview. Included the pay range and mentioned they were able to help with visa.
What was supposed to be a Zoom call, turned out to be a Zoom chat session. All messages read a little off like it was someone who didn't know English very well. I also noticed the pay range had doubled at this point, which made me suspect even more, but I was curious what their scam was. I was told I would meet a supervisor and have a second interview the next day that would be video. Instead, they offered me the job. I then told them I did not feel comfortable proceeding and ended the convo.
